Description
This is a byre and implement shed located 70 metres southeast of Tilekiln Farmhouse, dating from around 1810. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a timber frame and weatherboarding, and has a roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The building is aligned northeast to southwest, and there is an attached brick wall at the southwest end that creates a small enclosed yard. Together with nearby structures, this building is part of a remarkably intact farm complex from the Napoleonic War period.
