Description

This barn, located 18 meters southwest of Mark's Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of five bays and features a half hipped midstrey lean-to extension on the east side. The frame is nearly intact, showcasing arch braced tie beams, main posts without jowls, and joggled side girths. The roof is gambrel in style, with side purlins, arch braced main collars, and upper purlins that have simple collars. The top plate has halved and bladed scarfs. The end gables were partially rebuilt in the early 19th century.
