Cart Lodge/Granary. Late C16 origin but mainly late C18 or early C19. Front is partly red brick with weather boarding above and partly weather boarded on brick plinth with slate roof. Rear elevation has late C16 unusual random bond brickwork. Four bays aligned N-S. Two bays open on west. End bays infilled. Primary braced oak frame, chiselled carpenters marks, clasped side purlin roof. Unusual W formation to purlins to prevent slippage. External open stairs. Ladder to 1st floor on south side. Later farm buildings attached to east do not form part of this item.
