Pair of attached cottages, early C19. Clay lump, plastered, roof thatched. Aligned approx. NE-SW, aspect NW, one room deep, 2 rooms on each floor of each cottage, central chimney stack. Single storey ancillary building with slate roof to rear, forming a T-plan. Single storey with attics. 2 plain boarded doors in simple slated gabled porches, 2 early C20 wooden casement windows, one C19 cast iron casement window of 12 lights, 2 slated lean-to dormers with early C20 wooden casement windows. Roof half-hipped at both ends. NE elevation has one C19 cast iron casement window of 24 lights on each floor. SW elevation has one on first floor, one early C20 wooden casement on ground floor. An unusually unaltered example of its type, of which few others survive in comparable condition.
