TL 63 SE FINCHINGFIELD SPAINS HALL ROAD (east side)

3/80 Dovecote approx. 75 21.12.67 metres West-north-west of Spains Hall (Formerly listed as Dovecote GV II at Spains Hall)

Dovecote. C18. Red brick in Flemish bond, incorporating an earlier wall of flint rubble at the rear, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Square, with halved door facing SE, in recessed panel. Pyramidal roof with wooden louvre, with slated pyramidal roof. The interior has one of 2 hinged flaps to close the louvre. Nest boxes removed.
