Description
This is an 18th-century dovecote located about 20 meters east of the Church of St Thomas. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish garden wall bond and features a brick dentil eaves cornice. The dovecote has a pyramidal roof made of machine tiles, with cemented hips and a small spike finial. It is square in plan and has a doorway to the right of the center on the west side, which is topped by a cambered brick arch and has a plank door. Above the door are two small pigeon holes, and there is a blocked opening on the north side. Inside, there is a low loft floor, and the walls are lined with pigeon holes that have stone ledges.
