Description

Number 3 Brook Cottages is an 18th-century cottage that has been altered in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The cottage has two bays facing north and features an axial stack on the right side. It is part of a row of cottages, alongside Edgebrook and Rosamond. The building is one storey high with attics and includes one 20th-century casement window, along with two additional casements located in slated swept dormers. There is a 20th-century door on the left side of the building. At the time of the survey in September 1984, the cottage was undergoing major alterations.
