Description

House. Dating from the early 18th century, View Farmhouse is constructed of red brick with tiled roofs, the rear range being hipped. It has a dentil eaves cornice and flush end stacks. The house follows an L-shaped plan and extends over two storeys with an attic, featuring two hipped dormers. The symmetrical front elevation originally had segmental arches over three window openings, though these now contain 20th-century casements. A central doorway is flanked by original window openings. The interior features chamfered ceiling beams with jewelled stops and doors of two fielded panels.
