Description

The property is a house, likely dating from the early 17th century but significantly renovated in the mid-20th century. It is timber-framed with modern render and brick casing to one gable end. The house has tiled roofs, one of which is half-hipped, and an end stack. The layout is in an L-shape. It extends to two storeys and has an attic, with two gable dormers. The front of the house features three mid-20th century casement windows and a central doorway within a timbered porch. The rear wall is jettied, with both principal and common jetty joists visible. An internal inspection was partial. A stop-chamfered main beam with run-out stops is present in the kitchen wing, but much of the original timber framing has been obscured or removed.
