Description

Rowley Cottage is a late 17th or early 18th century cottage located in Cardinals Green. It is a timber-framed building, now plastered and rendered with a long straw thatched roof, featuring a half-hip at the south end. A single flue ridge stack is present. Originally a single range facing the road, the cottage was later extended by a gabled wing on the north-east side. A gable dormer on the east side reveals timber framing and has small casement windows.
