Description

Mereside Cottage is a late 17th century cottage located with its gable end facing the road. It features a timber frame that is plaster rendered, topped with a half-hipped thatched roof. The original ridge stack has been partially rebuilt and rendered, and there is a later side stack. The cottage has a three bay plan with an entrance on the south side and three later casement windows on the gable end.
