Description

The United Reformed Church is a non-conformist chapel built in 1841. It is constructed of gault brick and features a slate roof with paired brackets at the boarded eaves. The building has a pedimented gable end that is divided into three bays and two stages, flanked by giant corner pilasters. Each bay contains a hung sash window with sixteen panes. The central doorway is framed by a doorcase supported by fluted Ionic pilasters, topped with an entablature and a dentil cornice. The reveals are panelled, and the door itself is a four-panelled design with a rectangular fanlight above.
