Description

These cottages, located at 19 and 21 Hall Street, Soham, were likely built in different phases during the 18th century and early 19th century. They are timber-framed and have roughcast rendering. The left-hand gable end is of clunch, while the right-hand gable end is brick. The steeply pitched roof is covered in red pantiles, and features an end parapet on the right-hand side, as well as one ridge stack and two end stacks. The cottages are one storey high with attics, and include four cat-slide dormers. Four windows have been blocked, and three doorways are also blocked. A single-storey shop wing, with a lower pantiled mansard roof, extends to the right.
