Description
Mill Green Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 16th century and late 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure with plaster rendering and a tiled hipped roof, which has a central stack located west of the ridge. The north end of the house has two late 16th century bays, with a crosswing that connects to the late 17th century range. The building is two storeys tall with an attic.
The front elevation includes four 19th century six-pane hung sash windows in open boxing, along with four similar windows on the ground floor. There are also two doorways, one of which has a doorcase with plain pilasters, a dentil cornice, and a six-panelled door from the 18th century. The rear elevation features three gable dormers. Additionally, the house was extended with a lean-to dairy at the north end and a narrow domestic passage on the moated side.
