Description
Priory Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th to 17th century, with some 18th-century elements. It is timber-framed and cased in 18th-century red brick, featuring some burnt brick headers, and has a tiled roof. The house is a double-ended hall house with a centre range that has two storeys and an attic. It includes one modern gable dormer and three 19th-century wooden casement windows on the first floor, all under segmental arches. The crosswings also have similar window styles and are two storeys with attics. The crosswings display older brickwork, including bands and plinths. There is a 20th-century doorway in the porch leading to the west crosswing. Inside, the farmhouse retains exposed timber-framing.
