Description

No. 2 West Street is a cottage dating from around 1660, which was renovated and enlarged in the mid-20th century. It is timber-framed and rendered, featuring a tiled roof and an original square, red brick ridge stack. Each side of the stack has a recessed panel with cut and moulded brickwork that forms a shaped head. The cottage has a two-bay plan with a lobby entry and is one storey high with an attic. There are two dormers and two 19th-century, nine-pane hung sash windows on either side of the doorway.
