Description

No. 2 Bottisham Place is a cottage dating from 1654, with the date likely recut on a stone or cement rendered panel at the base of the stack. The timber-framed structure is plaster rendered and features a steeply pitched roof covered in cement tiles. It has an original red brick ridge stack with diagonally set grouped shafts on a square base. The cottage has a plan of three bays and a lobby entry, and it stands two storeys tall. The three windows on the first floor, two on the ground floor, and the door are all from the 20th century.
