Description

No. 27 High Street is a house with origins dating back to the late 17th century, featuring a later front wall. It is constructed of red brick, primarily in Flemish bond, with framed upper gable ends. The roof is tiled and includes an original ridge stack with grouped shafts set diagonally. The building has two storeys and displays three recessed horizontal sliding sashes. Above these, there are three brick bands that extend over two 19th-century twelve-pane hung sashes and the central doorway on the ground floor. A 20th-century addition is located at the rear.
