Description

No. 5 High Street is a house dating from the 17th century, featuring a timber frame with early 19th-century cladding. The walls are constructed of red brickwork in Flemish bond, with a plinth, rubbed cambered arches with flat extrados, and brick dentil eaves. The roof is tiled. The symmetrical east front elevation has two storeys and two sash windows. The doorway is adorned with a cornice, reeded architrave, and a six-panelled door, of which the top two panels are glazed.
