Description

Tower House, formerly known as Tower View, is a house with origins in timber framing, substantially altered and reclad in the 18th century. The walls are of painted brickwork in a Flemish bond, with cambered ground-floor openings. It has a tile roof with moulded eaves and two hipped dormers. The west front elevation is of two storeys and an attic, with four windows; one narrow upper opening is now filled in. Windows are casements, with one splayed bay window present. A doorway is sheltered by a canopy supported on brackets, featuring an architrave and a six-panelled door with two glazed panels at the top. Two wrought-iron brackets are also visible.
