Description

This is a house located on the west side of High Street in Hambledon. The northern portion of the house dates back to the 15th century as one of two units in a Wealden house. The exterior was largely rebuilt in the 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century, and a later extension was added in the early 20th century. The walls are brick, with a first-floor band featuring carved egg and dart moulding. The roof is tiled, with brick dentil eaves. The east-facing elevation has two storeys and two windows. The upper windows are sash windows with exposed frames, while the lower windows consist of a casement and a splayed bay. A side entrance serves the property.
