Description

Dove House is a former pigeon house that has been converted into a dwelling. It dates from the early 18th century and features a timber frame with plaster rendering and a tiled hipped roof with gablets. A grey brick chimney stack from the 19th century was added during the conversion. The building is rectangular and has two storeys. There is a horizontal sliding sash window on the first floor and a late 20th-century casement window on the ground floor, along with an additional doorway on the side. Inside, some of the original framing is exposed, showing an inserted clamp that supports the ceiling of the ground floor, which is believed to have once served as a gamekeeper's larder.
