Description

Little Bethlehem, also known as The Woods, is a cottage dating from the late 16th century. It features a timber frame with plaster rendering and a reed thatch roof, which has a red brick stack with a later flue added. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has two ground floor casement windows, along with a doorway at the south end that is sheltered by a modern porch. Inside, there are two ground floor rooms, one of which has a stop-chamfered main beam.

No 35, which is an early 19th-century addition or replacement at the north end, is also timber framed, rendered, and has a plain tiled roof with end stacks. This part of the building is two storeys tall and features wood casements.
