Description

Rose Farmhouse is a late 17th-century timber-framed farmhouse, now roughcast rendered. It has a plain tiled roof with a red brick ridge stack and follows an L-shaped plan. The building is one storey high with an attic, and features two gable dormers. The ground floor has three modern casement windows; the central one likely replaces the original doorway which led to a baffle entry. Attached is a kitchen wing of similar date and materials, with a gable end stack featuring two diagonally set shafts. This wing is also one storey high with an attic and has two gabled dormers, as well as modern casements and a doorway.
