Description
Beckett's Barn Cottage, also known as Beckett's Barn or Beckett's Cottages, is a cottage that dates from the 16th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The cottage features external right and two rear red brick chimney stacks. It is one storey high with attics and includes one gabled dormer. The ground floor has four 20th-century casement windows, and there is a 20th-century gabled porch with a door. The building is situated on a hill, and a brick plinth on the left side follows the contour of the slope. Inside, there are chamfered bridging joists, and an original mullion has been moved to an internal position.
