Description
Old Pasture is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and restorations around 1983. The building features a rendered timber frame, with the front wall covered in gault brick. It has a thatched roof made of long straw, topped with a rebuilt ridge stack designed in the 17th-century style, featuring grouped shafts set diagonally on a rectangular base, along with 19th-century end stacks. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and is one storey high with attics. There are two dormers, and the front includes three recessed hung sash windows, each with four panes, and a four-panelled door, all set beneath segmental arches. To the right, there is a restoration from around 1983 of a 19th-century outhouse addition, which is built of brick and has a pantiled roof, also single storey.
