Description
No. 15 Angle End is a pair of cottages from the 18th century that have been combined into one dwelling. The building is timber framed, rendered, and features a thatched roof made of reed with a rebuilt ridge stack. Each original cottage includes one heated room and a narrower service bay next to it. The structure is one storey high with an attic, and it has two dormers with windows that have segmental arched heads. There are two windows on either side of a modern thatched porch. Originally, there were two doorways opposite the stack, one for each cottage. Inside, the cottages retain original abutting inglenook hearths, and each has a staircase that has been repaired or renewed in the corner of the service bay. The main beams are stop-chamfered.
