Description

Green Banks is a cottage dating from the 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure with rough cast rendering and a thatched roof. The cottage has a central ridge stack with three shafts, which was rebuilt in 19th century gault brick. It is one storey with an attic and has a lobby entry, following a two-unit plan with a rear outshut. There are two 19th century gabled dormer windows that have horizontal sliding sashes and shaped bargeboards. On the ground floor, two horizontal sliding sash windows flank a central boarded door.
