Description
Clairvoyee, located about 20 yards north of Wimpole Hall, is a structure from the late 18th century and mid 19th century. It features wrought iron railings on a dwarf wall made of red brick. The railings are arranged in eight bays, separated by stone piers, and further divided by panels of wrought iron with C and S scroll designs. The stone piers are topped with 18th-century lead and stone urns, including a pair of larger urns carved with the figure of Pan, which flank the mid 19th-century gates at the center. The design of Clairvoyee is attributed to Humfrey Repton.
