Description

No. 1 Field Row is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with an extension added at the north end around 1985. The building is timber framed, roughcast, and has a tiled roof with gault brick end stacks. It stands two storeys tall. Originally, there was a central doorway on the ground floor flanked by two casement windows, but the doorway is now off centre. The first floor features three 19th-century horizontal sliding sash windows.
