Description

The Old Post Office is a cottage built around 1800, with an extension added around 1840. It features a timber frame, is plaster rendered, and has a thatched roof. The building has a renewed stack at the east end and faces the road. It is two storeys high, with two casement windows on the first floor and two more on the ground floor, positioned on either side of the doorway. The 1840 addition at the rear is also timber framed, rendered, and has a pantiled roof, with an end stack and three casement windows on each of its two storeys.
