Description

Starrs Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling. Originally built in the 18th century, it was extended in the 20th century. The structure is timber framed, with a rendered exterior and a thatched roof made of combed wheat reed. It features a shared grey brick stack with two flues. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with one dormer and two casement windows. At the north end, one of the original doorways remains, while a modern door has been added. There are small extensions at both the north and south ends of the building.
