Description

Goodwoods Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one. They date from the 18th to 19th century and feature a timber frame with a rendered exterior and a half-hipped roof covered in long straw thatch, topped with a shared red brick ridge stack. The building is one storey high with an attic and includes two eyebrow dormers. There are four modern lattice leaded lights, one of which is located where a doorway used to be. The doorway to the right-hand cottage is still intact. Inside, each cottage has two rooms and back-to-back hearths made of red brick, dating from around 1800.
