Description
Fox Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with a mid-19th century addition. It is constructed of red brick and rough cast rendered timber-frame, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a rear outshut. A 19th century gabled porch with a tiled roof, bargeboard, and apex finial leads to a four-panelled door with a fanlight and side lights. On the ground floor, there are two twenty-paned hung sash windows set in segmental brick arches, while the first floor has two horizontal sliding sash windows. Notable architectural details include a dentil brick eaves cornice, a rebuilt plinth, tumbled parapet gables that have been reduced, and end stacks.
