Description

The Gate House at Longstowe Hall is a gatehouse built around 1912 by Sir John Simpson. It is constructed of brick with a plain tiled roof. The central feature is a round-headed carriageway arch, which has stone dressings and is supported by rusticated pilasters. This arch is flanked by two gabled ranges that are connected above the carriageway. The building has two storeys, and each gable end features a casement window on each storey.
