Description

The Fox is a public house dating from the 18th century, with additions made in 1841. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure, with a plastered plinth and a painted brick rear wing. The building has slate roofs and a rebuilt ridge stack. It stands two storeys high with attics. A 19th-century gabled porch with a tiled roof, bargeboard, and apex finial leads to a six-panelled door that is accompanied by a fanlight and sidelights. The property has two ground floor and two first floor twelve-paned flush framed hung sash windows.
