Description
The Red House is an inn that dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and has been renovated and extended. It is built of red brick and features a slate roof with end stacks. The building has two storeys. On the first floor, there are two recessed hung sash windows with intersecting glazing bars set in ogee arches, flanking a central hung sash window that has a similar top pane in a round-headed arch. The ground floor includes two modern replacement canted bay windows on either side of the doorway, which leads to the original opening. There is an extension on the south and west sides of the building.
