Description

No. 5 Park Lane is a pair of cottages from the 18th century that have been combined into one dwelling. The building features a timber frame with plaster rendering and a reed thatched roof. It has a shared red brick ridge stack and stands two storeys tall with an attic. On the first floor, there are two horizontal sliding sash windows on either side of a single-height window. The entrance includes a baffle entry doorway, and another doorway has been partially converted into a window. The property has five horizontal sliding sash windows in total. Inside, there are back-to-back hearths, two staircases, and a main beam that is notched and fluted.
