Description
This is a group of five vases located about 20 yards west of Wimpole Hall, dating from the mid-19th century. They are made of limestone. The central vase consists of two stages: the lower stage features a larger bowl adorned with fluting and gadrooning, along with beading at the rim. The upper stage resembles a basket, showcasing trellis work on a baluster stem that includes a console bracket and swag decoration. At each corner, there is a vase that matches the central one, designed with similar basketwork, a curved lip, and claw feet. The vases are set on a square stone base that is paved.
