Description

Merry’s Farmhouse is a 17th-century cottage located in Great Eversden. It is timber-framed and has rendered and plastered walls with a combed wheat reed thatched roof. The main range is a single storey with an attic, while a crosswing is two storeys high. The front features a lobby entrance with windows on either side, including a horizontal sliding sash window. A rebuilt ridge stack sits atop the main range, and the crosswing has one window to each floor. The interior retains stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
