Description

Clunch Cottage is a pair of cottages, originally dating to the 18th century, which have been renovated in the late 20th century. The exterior is of coursed clunch, now rendered, and possibly timber-framed in the upper gable ends. It has a tiled, half-hipped roof with a red brick square ridge stack. The building is one storey and has an attic, with two gable dormers. Originally, accurately cut radial voussoirs concealed the casements and one doorway; the doorway at the south end is now blocked, and a modern porch has been added to the doorway at the north end.
