Description
The Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage that was enlarged in the mid-20th century. It features a timber-framed structure with plaster rendering and a longstraw thatched roof, topped with an original grey brick ridge stack. The building has an original two-bay and lobby entry plan, consisting of one storey and an attic. There is one casement window in the gable end and two on the side wall, with the entry located in the mid-20th century enlargement, which is made of brick, rendered, and thatched, also featuring a ridge stack. Inside, the slender timber framing is exposed, and there is an inglenook hearth along with a smaller hearth that has been added.
