Description

This is a four-stage tower windmill, built in 1852. Constructed of local brown and red brick, the windmill has one window within a segmental arch on each stage. The initials "T Setchell" and the date "1852" are inscribed in brick over the doorway. The capping has been removed. The interior retains three overdriven stones and some gearwork. The windmill is located at the rear of number 114 Wood View, on the west side of Hunting Road in Upwood.
