Description
This is a late 17th-century cottage with 19th-century alterations. The front wall is timber-framed and has a plaster render, while the end walls are of 19th-century brick. The roof is thatched with combed wheat reed and has a grey gault brick ridge stack. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. It has three small-paned, 19th-century horizontal sliding sash windows on the ground floor, and a central doorway. The doorway has a 19th-century architrave and a door with two glazed upper panels. There is also a single gable-end casement window. A 19th-century brick outhouse with a chimney is located at the south-west end of the property.
