Description

No. 8B on Crown Street is an early to mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and features three windows. It is constructed from Gault brick, with the ground floor painted. The building has brick corbelling below the eaves and gauged flat brick arches over recessed sash windows that retain their original glazing bars. There is a stone cornice from a former shop front, and the entrance consists of a square-headed recessed doorway with a fanlight and a panelled door. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 2, 4, 10, and 14 to 18 (even) on Crown Street, as well as Nos. 6 and 8 Merryland.
