Description

Nos. 2 and 4 Crown Street are late 18th-century buildings that have been altered. They are two storeys high and feature flat-topped dormers and two windows. The buildings have a slated mansard roof and are constructed from painted brick. Notable architectural details include brick corbelling at the eaves and square-headed flush sash windows with exposed boxing and original glazing bars. A modern shop front has been added. These buildings, along with Nos. 2, 4, 8, 10, and 14 to 18 (even), form a group with Nos. 6 and 8 Merryland.
