Description
No. 14 Crown Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features two windows. The roof is slated with projecting eaves, and the facade is made of painted brick, flanked by brick pilasters. The windows are recessed sash types with original glazing bars, topped with gauged flat brick arches. The wooden shop front includes an entablature with a projecting cornice and a projecting shop window that once had large panes. There is also a half-glazed shop doorway. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 2, 4, 8B, 10, and 14 to 18 (even), along with Nos. 6 and 8 Merryland.
