Description
10 and 12B Merryland are 18th century and early 19th century buildings located on the north side of Merryland. They are two storeys tall with attics, featuring brick or plastered fronts and tiled roofs. The adjacent No.8, which is on the northeast elevation, has three storeys and a slate roof. Notable architectural features include a bow window at No.16 with a reeded surround and moulded cornice, while No.14 has a reeded surround to its doorway with a small cornice. These buildings, along with Nos.6 to 10 (even) and Nos.14 to 18 (even), form a group with No.1, Lord Nelson Inn, and No.9.
