Description

This is a late 18th century or early 19th century milestone located adjacent to The Hollow on St Ives Road in Somersham. The milestone has a square section and features a pyramidal top. The north face is inscribed with "Somersham Parish," the west face reads "Wisbech 26 miles," and the east face indicates "St Ives 5 miles."
