Description
No 125 on High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a steeply pitched asbestos roof with tumbled parapet gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows, which are horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars set in cambered arches. Flanking the central doorway are two hung sashes with glazing bars in similar arches. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters, a plain entablature, and a flat canopy that is supported by paired console brackets. The entrance itself consists of a four-panelled door, two of which are glazed.
